“Anytime a team wins a championship, we as coaches are ecstatic. We've been working for a few years to get here and we kept telling people if certain things happen and we stay healthy, we could win. But you can't keep telling people that ? you have to actually do it eventually. There were to many highlights to name them all here, but I want to especially commend the four champions we had.”
“This was a good, good effort and really satisfying to score in all event areas. In the past, it has not mattered what we do during indoors, we always do better outdoors so we have the potential to win it all again and do something special this spring.”
“We actually didn't get the place we thought we were going to get, but we have very high expectations each year in this event. Taking second, fourth and 10th place is very good, but our coaches are still not necessarily satisfied. But this was a great start for us and hopefully we'll have some more good things happen (Saturday).”
“She has been training very well and is maybe the most improved athlete we have from last season and definitely the most improved of those who went from being a freshman to a sophomore. She is a person on our team who we have to keep healthy to continue to have strong meets in the future.”
“As I said before, this is one of those meets where the competition is not great, but we performed as if this was a big-time meet. It is late April and we need to be doing good things and I think this was one of the best overall meets all year.”
