“I just thought the Legacy Highway was more local. From a national standpoint, Katrina was a bigger story. But from a local standpoint, I think Legacy was a bigger story.”
“It was great, a very good experience to really get into that element where you just train among other cyclists of same or better caliber and with a coach. I actually learned to spend time on the bike - a lot of miles, a lot of long hours. I've always heard Chris saying that to become a better rider, you have to spend a lot of time on the bike. I had a week to experience it - riding up to eight hours a day - four in the morning and four in the afternoon.”
