“It's been a challenge. We have a better idea of it since we have been in pads. We are still getting new kids coming in, and they are working hard and doing a good job.”
“We are in better shape, numbers-wise. Last year, we had difficulty if we wanted to make adjustments. For example, against Burroughs (in the first round of the playoffs), we wanted an extra defensive back, and we did not have one. So the more players will give us more flexibility.”
“It is a big question mark, but I said that last year and we wound up being not that bad. They look good at practice, and when they get under the lights it may be a different story. We have some kids that have never played before and some sophomores, so it will be pretty interesting.”
