“We did get tired there at the end. I thought we were a little bit out of gas and that showed up on the floor. We missed some chip shots that we normally make, and I think some of that can be attributed to fatigue. They (McClellan) were a handful.”
“Every year, we start out wanting to win our conference and make it to the state tournament. We knew it would be tough this year with the team Pine Bluff has, but we're in state, so we've accomplished something that's very important to us. We're still alive and that's got to count for something.”
“We're a smaller AAAAA school. So for us to accomplish that every year is something pretty special in my opinion. Our kids take pride in that tradition and they expect to go (to state). They just know that whatever happens, they need to be (at state) in the end. It puts a little bit of pressure on them and I always think that's good.”
