“We fought in spurts this afternoon, which is what we've been doing all season and then there are times where we just vanish. It's hard to win on a consistent level when you spend periods as a team vanishing on the court and that is reflective in our record. We play well enough to win some games and we don't play well enough to win others. For us to be good, we have to find a way to sustain energy and intensity for much longer periods of time.”

“North Texas did a nice job of getting into our shooters tonight. When we were able to have good looks, we just couldn't knock them down. When you're a shorter team, you need to make shots from the perimeter. We just didn't bring enough juice in the second half. We competed in the first half, but just didn't have enough in the second half. When we stopped scoring, it was a snowball effect. It affected our defense and we got into a rut.”
