“He's my mentor. He's what I want to be in my future here at Rutgers. Going through ups and downs just him being the all around player that's what I want to be like. He's got a legacy that he's already built and he's still here being a great, tough, hard-nosed player.”
“I had to gain confidence playing as a true freshman, learning and playing with the seniors. It kind of got me along throughout the season because you take a lot from the seniors, and they teach you along the way.”
“When you're playing as a true freshman, you just got to play the next play if you make a mistake. You just have to keep going and play through adversity.”
“Just stay consistent. That's my goal. And not going backward. I think you get looked upon even more when you're very consistent. I think looking back on last year it's something you can cherish and that's something special.”
