“We found out going to Beaufort on the fifth of January that she needed a liver transplant and was in a grave situation. She died, and we had to postpone a couple of ball games to pay our respects and bury her. It's good to finish out the regular season for the seniors we have in this type of fashion.”
“It's the first game we've won that's been a close situation. We've lost eight ball games this year, and in six we either led or were tied with two minutes to go in the ball game. So, we had a difficult time finishing a ball game. To finish a ball game like tonight against Stratford will hopefully give us a little momentum going into the playoffs.”
“We were able to run the floor early in the game and that took some of the pressure off. We limited our turnovers in the first half and that really helped. We were able to come out and do what we wanted to do.”
