“I've always enjoyed the leadership role. The younger players look up to me because I've been playing longer than they have. It's kind of a lot of pressure because they look to see what I do. So I try and set the tone and lead by example.”
“It was pretty cool. Our team had not played in Michigan yet the two years I was down here, and the coach set it up for me so my family could see me play. There was a whole crew that came to watch me. I was able to come out and talk to them after the game. But my teammates were kind of hassling me because we had a nine-hour drive ahead of us (back to Owensboro).”
