“I skied at about 97% today. I need to bring out that extra 3%. Scott's obviously skiing great. It's going to be a race. Both of us will give it our all, that's for sure.”
“I was just charging and came up a little short. I can take something out of it because I did ski really well in sections. It was just two big mistakes at the top that cost me.”
“To come (in), the first training run, and put smack down like that, that scares everybody. If you're that confident there's no reason to try and slow down.”
“It was a big opportunity for me but now that it's gone I'm going back to normal life and start racing again. I'm still in a recovery (from injury) season and I'm getting better and better. I guess I'll gear up for U.S. Nationals as my next big race.”
