“We played really well in the first half, up 12 at halftime. The kids passed well and looked for the open man -- they showed a lot of patience. In the second half (Scappoose) stepped up on defense and offensively we got off track of what we wanted to do.”
“We were able to limit their leading scorer (Keene) from touching the ball. He still got 14 on us, but only two in the second half. The kids came back and two hard days of practice seem to have gotten the kinks out of the way.”
“The kids are pretty happy. They should have the attitude of being able to beat anybody on any given night in our league. We want to win all of our games at home -- that's a big part of it. We still think the winner of league will have (at least) two losses.”
“They put a lot of pressure on us and our kids didn't react well. They're fast and they're a good team. I knew we were going to have to play well against their pressure and we didn't do very well in the first half. We didn't have some kids execute the game plan the way we wanted.”
“(Sisters) was trying to sub guys in every two minutes and shoot three's. Our kids like to play the passing lanes -- Chris Bailey did an excellent job getting out there (and getting steals).”
