“Title IX has definitely provided more opportunities for female athletes. It is definitely a positive thing for women's sports, both in what it offers women and in its funding. I don't feel that the survey is an accurate way to gauge interest, especially when people who don't respond get counted as people who aren't interested in a particular sport.”
