“Transit to anywhere made her feel insecure, and because she was not verbal, she would have tantrums. It was her only way to express herself. So by using input from the sensory room to improve how she tolerated movement, we were able to get all of those behaviors to decrease. Right now, she is much better about those transitions, and it's much less traumatic for her and for the people working with her.”
