“She's the top runner we have at this school. She's just a junior this year. Some girls do better as they're younger but she's done well. She came in doing about the same but she's increasingly dropping stuff and getting better on her jumps.”
“Our deal right now is our second tier guys have to step up and take some of those four places (to qualify for the regional meet). Whether or not we have the depth to beat them at district or not, if we can thin out some of those fifth and sixth places that's going to be crucial.”
